So many ways to patch together half square triangles; so little time

I don't know if I will ever be able to sew this quilt together. Every time I put together a design I like, I think of another fun way it could look. Here are all of the ways I've played with the half square triangles recently.

  1. Well, Stacy... I could just not agree more. Those time consuming little HST blocks always reward you with so many design possibilities! In my humble opinion I just adore the randomness you went with in your first (and last) pic! That is awesome! It just looks so fun! LOVE your background neutrals... That was an excellent choice. Sure makes the brights sparkle. Thanks for sharing your pics, ideas and those wise words by Thomas Merton!

  2. Thanks for the vote and notes Lorna -- if I go with that last one, I'll name it "randomness"!

  3. I think the concentric diamonds are my favorite, but you're right, they are all beautiful. I have such a hard time settling on my final designs, too -- whether it's cutting the first cut, or deciding which piece goes where before sewing it all down! So much second-guessing. Once it's done, though, I usually forget about all the other options... :)

  4. I am leaning towards the centric diamonds too - just added that one today. I'm totally with you on the deciding and sewing process! Thanks for stopping by Rainy!!
